Syva
Our commitment

Built for self-improvement, not self-judgment.

A tool that measures faces carries real responsibility. These are the commitments we hold ourselves to — not marketing, but the rules the product is actually built around.

Adults only

Syva is for people 18 and over. Facial analysis of minors is off the table entirely — no exceptions, no workarounds. We build for grown adults making informed choices about their own appearance.

Strengths first, always

Every report opens with what is already working. We never show a bare negative without pairing it with a concrete, proportionate action you can take — because a number with no path forward is just a way to feel worse.

Measurement, not judgment

A score describes how a feature conforms to a reference distribution. It is not a verdict on your attractiveness, and it is never a measure of your worth. We refuse cruel, rank-shaming, or hot-or-not-style scoring.

Non-diagnostic by design

Syva provides cosmetic and wellness information, not medical advice or diagnosis. It is not a medical device. For anything clinical — a mole, a symptom, a procedure — we point you to a licensed professional.

Your biometrics are sensitive

Facial geometry is biometric data, and we treat it that way. Collection requires your explicit consent. It is encrypted, never sold, and never used to train models by default. You can delete it permanently at any time.

Transparent about limits

We disclose the confidence behind every qualitative read, the cohort behind every benchmark, and the things our method simply cannot do. No black box, and no single ideal face presented as universal truth.

Mental health comes before the metrics

Appearance-focused tools can affect how people feel about themselves, and for some they can feed preoccupation or distress. We take that seriously. Support is one click away throughout the product, we frame findings to encourage perspective rather than fixation, and we would rather you close the app feeling capable than come back to re-scan out of anxiety.

Wellbeing & support
